This Privacy Policy explains the way Glambook UG (hereinafter "Glambook," "we," "our," or "us") collects, uses, and protects personal information when you use the Glambook platform which includes the Glambook websites at glambook.com, glambook.com, and glambook.de (collectively, the "Websites"), the Glambook: Fashion & Beauty app mobile application software and the Glambook Pro: for Business mobile application software and website at www.glambook.com ("Glambook"), customisable websites powered by Glambook hosted at unique subdomain addresses on myglambook.com (the "Partner Sites"), and the web interfaces, also powered by Connect, embedded on Partner Sites and on our partners’ own websites and social media pages, through which customers can make bookings directly with Partners at widget.glambook.com (the "Widgets") (collectively, the "Platform").

Glambook may share your personal information with other entities, affiliates in its corporate group ("Group") and external consultants, if necessary,  for the purposes described in this notice. The Group  is listed in the section of this Privacy Policy called “Sharing personal information with third parties”, along with their contact details.

We have created this Privacy Policy to explain how we collect, define, and use your personal information, such as your name, email address, contact details, and online identifiers, as well as the Cookies we use. What information do we collect?

When you visit and use our Platform or contact us, we may collect the following information:

Personal Information that you provide to us when you register for an account, subscribe to emails, newsletters, and alerts, and when you use our services, including information entered into our booking platform and included in your comments, reviews, or survey responses. Personal Information that you share with us as part of a job application at Glambook, submitted either directly on our website or indirectly through a recruitment agency or third-party recruitment platform. If you choose to provide us with sensitive personal data, such as information about whether reasonable adjustments should be made for you in the application process, we ask that you only provide information that is necessary for us to make such adjustments.

Credit and debit card details, stored securely on an encrypted basis, if you use our online payment facility.

Communication data, such as the content of your messages, your contact details, and your IP address, if you choose to communicate with us through the Platform, live chat, email, telephone, SMS, or social media.

Information about your visits to and use of the Platform, such as the device and browser you are using, your IP address and location, the date and time of your visit, the duration of your visit, your referral source, and your interactions on the Platform, including the salons and treatments you are interested in. Please see the Cookies section of this Privacy Policy for more information on how we use this information. Please note that we may associate this information with your Glambook account.

Ensuring that the Personal Information you provide us during registration or while using the Platform is accurate and up-to-date is crucial. This includes ensuring that your contact details, including email, are correct. If you plan to submit Personal Information of someone else to us, such as when making a booking on their behalf, you should only do so with their consent and after they have been informed about how we will use their details for the purposes outlined in this Privacy Policy.

●  comply with legal obligations and to protect our rights, property, and safety and the rights, property, and safety of our users and others.

You provide us with your consent:

●  To inform you about new Glambook services and special offers that we believe you may find valuable, for example, via email and by displaying advertisements on third-party websites, such as Meta products and applications (where consent is required).

●  To send you information about competitions, surveys, and details of promotional offers from our Partners and selected third parties' goods or services, such as health, beauty, leisure, and lifestyle brands, via email and as push notifications through the App.

●  To share your personal information with our Partners and selected third parties, such as health, beauty, leisure, and lifestyle brands, to allow them to send you information about their goods and services on their behalf.

●  To use cookies and other similar technologies in accordance with the Cookies section of this Privacy Policy and the information provided to you when those technologies are used.

●  To use customer communications for training, record-keeping, and quality control purposes. If you contact our customer service team and provide consent by not opting out, we may record your call. You will be informed if such a recording is taking place and given the opportunity to opt-out of being recorded if you wish to do so and provided with the means to do so.

●  On other occasions where we request your consent, we will use the data for the purpose that we explain at that time.

Withdrawing Consent or Objecting to Direct Marketing

●  If you would like to stop receiving communications from Glambook, you may do so by clicking the “unsubscribe” button at the bottom of any email communications sent to you or by contacting us at [email protected]. Please allow 48 business hours for your email address to be removed from our system.

●  If you would like to stop receiving communications from our Partners or other third parties, please contact them directly. If you require our assistance, we will do our best to help.

●  If you would like to stop receiving push notifications through the App, you can disable push notifications for the App in your phone's operating system settings.

Please note that even if you have opted out of receiving our email marketing communications using the methods described above, you may still see our non-targeted advertisements while browsing online, if your interests settings on Facebook match an audience segment (pre-defined by Facebook) that our business is associated with. We have no control over whether these ads are displayed to you.

Sharing your personal information with the third parties

We take the security and processing of your Personal Information seriously, and we assure you that we will never sell your Personal Information under any circumstances. However, we may share your Personal Information with selected third parties in the following circumstances:

●  To our Partners with whom you book services whether via our Website or Apps, where we act as a commercial booking agent, or directly with the Partner via our Partner Platform or Widgets, where we act solely as a technology provider. Your information is shared with Partners to facilitate your booking and to enable them to provide you with the services that you have booked:

   ○   bookings can be facilitated and necessary arrangements can be made prior to your appointment;

   ○   Partners can send you marketing emails containing news and special offers, only if you have given your consent;

   ○   they can enhance the services they provide to their customers and improve their business operations by analyzing statistical data regarding customers on both individual and aggregate levels.

●  To third party brands with which we collaborate on products, services, competitions and campaigns.

●  To third party salon software providers used by our Partners to ensure that those third party software solutions and Connect each display real-time availability to customers.

●  To media agencies and advertising partners in order to run targeted marketing campaigns (please see the Cookies section of this Privacy Policy for further information on online advertising practices).

●  To other third parties, for the purpose of facilitating our business and improving our products, content, services or advertising including, by way of example only, sending email communications or publishing reviews of our or our Partners' products and services.

●  If we buy, sell, or transfer any business or assets, or if we go into insolvency, bankruptcy, or receivership, we may need to disclose your Personal Information to the seller or buyer of such business or assets, as appropriate.

Glambook uses a third-party payment processor, Stripe, to process all payments made by users on our websites and apps. We do not store credit card details and instead rely on Stripe for this. We obtain limited information from Stripe such as the last four digits, the country of issuance, and the expiration date. Stripe's processing of such data is covered by their privacy policy, which can be viewed here: https://stripe.com/privacy

Stripe's services in Europe are provided by a Stripe affiliate, Stripe Payments Europe Limited located in Ireland. In providing its payment processing services, Stripe Payments Europe Limited transfers personal data to Stripe, Inc. in the USA. Social Media and User Generated Content

Some of our Platforms allow users to submit their own content, including personal information. Please note that any content submitted to one of our Platforms can be viewed by the public, and you should be cautious about providing certain personal information, such as financial information or address details, via these Platforms. We are not responsible for any actions taken by other individuals if you post personal information on one of our social media platforms, such as Facebook or Instagram.
